DIS Summer Camp
DIS Summer Camp
Summer camps are proven of high importance in the further training and development of every child’s skills essential in the enhancement of interpersonal relationships and creative capabilities.
In response to this educational need, Dallas International School offers a summer enrichment program than run for about six weeks that both children and parents can enjoy and have for an ideal summer adventure. DIS Language Institute’s Summer Enrichment Camp proposes a set of choice activities every week. This is where the students can create their own program of either a half-day or full-day packed with combined activities which includes language learning, creative arts, sports such as tennis and karate, or a science camp.
Through the effective combination of such activities that are meant to be shared and experienced with the other summer camp students, DIS looks forward to further boost the natural sense of wonder of every child and offer them the opportunity to study various cultures, countries, and innovative ideas – all these while building new friends. The summer camp is compartmentalized by groups and organized by age. Like in the case of workshops for language development, the camp is handled by the fluency level of each. In the six-week session, the participating students are required to attend at least three weeks.
Dallas International School’s Summer Camp program is widely packed with a vast array of fun activities, from language immersion, creative art workshops, mad science, karate, and tennis. They offer morning classes between 9am to 12pm and afternoon classes between 1230 to 330pm. For those who chooses a full-day program, lunch is provided without extra cost.
